We’re Geoffrey and Jesse: two developers, authors, and pals.

No. Wavepal is just for you. Your people never see it, and there is nothing for them to join. Think of it as a private notebook that taps you on the shoulder at the right moment.
What is a “wave” in Wavepal?
Any hello, however it happens: a call on the drive home, a two-line text, coffee. Wavepal doesn’t send anything for you; you reach out the way you always do, then log the wave so future-you knows when you last talked.
Do my friends have to install anything?
Nope. Wavepal nudges you. The reaching out happens wherever you already talk: text, call, email, carrier pigeon.
What happens if I ignore a nudge?
It waits. That’s the whole feature. No guilt trips, no lost streaks. It will be there when you’re ready.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes, in beta. The web app works everywhere today, and the iPhone app is in TestFlight. Write hello@wavepal.app for an invite.
Can anyone see my notes?
No. Your notes are yours alone. Never sold, never used for ads, never shown to the people they’re about.
Is Wavepal free?
Yes, free up to 10 people, no card required. When your circle outgrows that, Pro is $5/mo billed annually, or $10 month to month. One plan, one decision.
What happens when I hit 10 people on the free plan?
You just can’t add an 11th; trying shows the upgrade. Everything keeps working for your existing 10: nudges, notes, birthdays, all of it. Nothing locks, nothing is taken away.
Can I import my contacts?
No. There’s no importer today; Wavepal starts small on purpose. Add the handful of people you actually want to stay close to, and grow from there.
Is Wavepal a personal CRM?
Technically yes: people, notes, birthdays, reminders. But it’s a personal CRM for friends and family, not networking. No pipelines, no follow-up pressure, no syncing your inbox.
